Staying at a 500-year-old renovated historic guesthouse in the heart of Wittenberg was a truly unique experience. The former home of the Cranach family added a touch of historical charm to my stay. The blend of traditional and modern elements was evident throughout the hotel, with a fully equipped kitchen allowing for a homely touch and the safety features providing peace of mind. The complimentary wireless internet access was convenient, ensuring I could stay connected during my visit.The location was ideal, being close to popular points of interest in the old town. Despite the language barrier, the staff were accommodating and made sure my stay was comfortable. It was refreshing to disconnect from technology as there were no TVs in the rooms, encouraging outdoor exploration of the beautiful courtyard and garden area. A practical and serene accommodation option in Lutherstadt Wittenberg.
